Botswana is one of the more off-the-beaten-track destinations that a motorhome adventurer could choose to visit, but don’t let that dissuade you: for those looking to glimpse some of Africa’s most famous wildlife, this is an ideal holiday choice. Unlike many of its neighbours, Botswana has a thriving economy based in no small part on tourism. This means that visitors are well catered to and hassles are kept to a minimum, allowing for full appreciation of the country’s natural wonders. It will pay to do a little research into which time of year to visit, as the main parks can get a little crowded, but if you decide to head for more remote locations you’ll likely have a slice of African paradise all to yourself.
