There are plenty of camping options along the foreshore reserve between Rye and Sorrento, a great place to base yourself for the night.

The lovely town of Cervantes is nearby, and it’s considered the rock lobster capital - so you should definitely enjoy a seafood dinner while you’re there.

Take an after-dark tour for spooky effect, and during the drive to and from, enjoy the scenery, empty beaches and plentiful wildlife of the Tasman Peninsula.
